Through classroom workshops, community programs, and global awareness initiatives, we have engaged over 400 students in our local community, inspiring young people to explore diverse perspectives, develop cultural understanding, and recognize their ability to create meaningful change. In our 15+ classroom workshops, OOI has introduced students to global awareness, cultural exchange, and social impact topics.
Since our founding, we have raised over $6,000 to provide school fees, educational supplies, meals, clothing, and other essential resources for students facing financial hardship. More than 75 students have directly received educational assistance and resources through our initiatives, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
Through our international pen pal program, students have exchanged over 100 letters with peers from Russell Street School in Littleton, Massachusetts (USA), Primus Public School in Bengaluru, India, Kuytun No. 3 Elementary School in Kuytun, China, and Bergvliet Primary School in Cape Town, South Africa. These conversations allow students to share their cultures, experiences, and perspectives while building meaningful friendships across borders.
